Makara Health Bolsters Team with Four New Hires
Salisbury, 10 April 2019 – UK-based international healthcare communications agency, Makara Health, has made four new appointments as it continues to expand its team to support continued growth.
- Gillian Wain has been appointed Account Director, joining from Cello Health Communications. With over 20 years’ experience in medical education, communications and publishing and exceptional project management skills, Gillian will work across key global medical education and communications accounts and new business.
- Sue Eales joins as Project Director from Bedrock Healthcare Communications. She has over 16 years’ experience working within medical communications and publishing and has worked extensively in partnership with medical societies to create targeted educational content.
At the centre of Makara Health’s model is flexible working, enabling full-time remote working for account staff, supported by an experienced and high calibre office-based support team led by Operations Director, Anna Hayden. To support the growing needs of the business, Makara Health has appointed two highly experienced support team members as they move to larger office premises at the agency’s base in Salisbury.
- Vicky Laker joins as Project Coordinator from Salisbury Playhouse and Wiltshire Creative with a diverse range of experience from project coordination to stage management in her 13-year career in theatre.
- Emma Reakes joins as Project Coordinator from a 15-year career in recruitment, sales and marketing and executive admin support within Banking and Financial Services.
