Key responsibilities

  • Follow briefs and design guidelines, in order to produce detailed and engaging PowerPoint presentations from provided content
  • Demonstrate creativity and an eye for detail when producing presentations, enhancing layout and design for maximum impact
  • Work with the editorial and account teams to design engaging slide decks with the target audience of the presentation in mind
  • Amend and improve existing PowerPoint collateral to align with Brand Guidelines
  • Advise on and produce simple graphics and animations to best convey ideas, concepts, processes, charts, maps, systems and solutions
  • With regards to eLearning – work with the with the editorial, account and eLearning teams to design slide decks specifically for the purposes of conversion to eLearning, considering visual presentation of content, instructional design and interactivity

General responsibilities

  • Keep up to date with relevant software and proactively manage self-development to ensure PowerPoint decks continue to exceed expectations
  • Ensure all quality review checks are adhered to and that standards are kept exemplary for all presentations
  • Develop and share PowerPoint best practice with the wider agency team
  • Work to tight deadlines where flexibility may be required

Skills and experience

  • Prior experience working in a PowerPoint Designer role (ideally with experience in a healthcare or scientific communications environment, or alternative regulated industry)
  • Strong experience with general MS Office package with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Some experience with design packages including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator beneficial
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team, and motivation to work remotely
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly creative and innovative
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive approach and confidence in learning new design software/tools
